Joel J. Gorjian

Joel J. Gorjian is the Managing Principal, Chief Strategy Officer and founder of Gorjian Acquisitions, and serves as the Chairman of its investment board.

Joel directs all investment strategy initiatives at Gorjian, doing so with his ever-growing intuition from studying macro level real estate market developments, constant explorations of new acquisition structures, having close relationships with a vast network of industry experts, and via experience as the Managing Principal of a diverse portfolio of over 75 properties throughout the US.

As the Chairman of the investment board at Gorjian, Joel has ultimate say on the approval of all pending property acquisitions, co-GP investments, LP equity investments, and property dispositions.

Joel is also the co-founder and Executive Director of Uber Capital Group, a New York based financial advisory firm focused on obtaining financing for a wide range of commercial real estate owners throughout the US. Prior to founding Gorjian Acquisitions in 2015, Joel was the Vice President of Acquisitions at a New York based private equity firm for six years, responsible for identifying, analyzing and overseeing the firm’s real estate acquisitions.

Joel earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Queens College at the City University of New York, and graduated with academic honors.

Jordan Gorjian

Jordan Gorjian holds the esteemed position of Chief Operating Officer at Gorjian Acquisitions, where he concurrently serves as a distinguished member of the investment board.

Jordan overseas all asset management-related activities for the 75+ commercial properties in the Gorjian Acquisitions portfolio. His purview encompasses the orchestration of multifaceted functions, including but not limited to investor relations, leasing, property management, development initiatives, and property divestitures.

From 2017 onward, Jordan has orchestrated a series of exceptional repositioning for the firm's real estate assets. This feat has been achieved through the strategic utilization of his extensive global investor network, profound expertise in construction, valuable relationships with prominent retail brands, and the aptitude for identifying the most suitable buyers for each property.

Jordan's commitment to professional excellence is further exemplified by his active membership in the Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) organization. Additionally, he holds the prestigious distinction of being a Certified GIS/LIS Technologist, showcasing his proficiency in geographic information systems and land information systems.

Jordan's educational foundation is anchored by a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, which he acquired from Queens College at the City University of New York. Furthermore, he has distinguished himself by completing a minor program in Hebrew Language at Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Adam Etessami

Adam Etessami is the President of Acquisitions at Gorjian Acquisitions, and serves on its investment board.

Adam oversees all Real Estate Acquisitions and Investments at Gorjian, and in doing so administrates micro-level investment strategies, financial analysis/valuation, due diligence and recruitment. Adam oversees all VPs of Acquisitions, and Acquisitions Associates at Gorjian and ensures they have the needed procedures and resources in place to succeed.

Prior to becoming President of Acquisitions, Adam was a VP of Acquisitions, responsible for overseeing Associates as they tried to identify properties for Gorjian to acquire, and an Analyst in the company’s Investment Division, responsible for implementing investment strategy updates, advising Acquisition Associates on property valuation, and underwriting deals under consideration.

Adam earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Binghamton University, where he was a Harpur College Dean’s List Student.

Ethan Kalaty

Ethan Kalaty is a VP of Acquisitions at Gorjian Acquisitions. His primary focus is overseeing the Acquisitions Associates who inquire on cash-flowing commercial properties across the country with value-add potential.

Ethan is responsible for supervising associates and assisting them as needed with their communications, underwriting and deal analysis and offering.

Prior to joining Gorjian Acquistions, Ethan was the top performing Licensed Sales Producer at WTKO Associates, a personal lines insurance agency in Roslyn, New York.

Ethan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the William E. Macaulay Honors College in New York City.

Wilson Sarmiento

Wilson Sarmiento is the Director of Asset Management at Gorjian Acquisitions, and serves on its investment board.

Wilson directs all asset management operations at Gorjian, managing repairs, maintenance, buildouts, relations with service providers and tenant relations for a portfolio of 75+ properties throughout the country.

Wilson also oversees all accounts receivable and accounts payable, and reviews the performance of all properties in the Gorjian portfolio. Wilson is responsible for the ‘onboarding process’ for newly acquired properties.

As the most senior member of the Gorjian Acquisitions Asset Management division, Wilson has been critical to the company’s growth. He is credited with structuring formidable management and accounting procedures.

Wilson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Queens College at the City University of New York.

Gavin Kline

Gavin Kline is the VP of Software Engineering at Gorjian Acquisitions, where he is at the forefront of developing innovative technological solutions to drive the company's growth and efficiency.

In his current role, Gavin leads the design and implementation of the Gorjian Software Platform, a sophisticated server-side application that enhances data collection, broker outreach, and workflow optimization. His expertise in backend development, database design, and AI-driven technology has been pivotal in advancing the company's digital transformation initiatives.

Gavin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University, where he graduated in just three years. He not only excelled academically but also demonstrated his team spirit and leadership skills as an active participant in Division 1 Men's Lacrosse.

Kim Delacruz

Kim Delacruz is an Asset Manager at Gorjian Acquisitions, and serves as a Junior Member of its investment board.

Kim assists with many asset management operations, particularly by managing all accounts receivable and accounts payable for Gorjian’s portfolio of 75+ properties throughout the country.

Kim analyzes portfolio performance, and handles financial reporting for both the Gorjian investment board and Gorjian’s lender and LP equity contributors.

Prior to joining Gorjian Acquisitions, Kim had experience in multi-family property management and commercial leasing.

Kim earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at American Public University. In her spare time, she loves to be with her husband and children.

Kayla Kashinejad

Kayla Kashinejad is the Director of Marketing at Gorjian Acquisitions, and additionally serves as an Analyst & Office Administrator.

Kayla manages several operations at Gorjian, as she spearheads all external communications, marketing campaigns and initial property analysis.

Prior to joining Gorjian, Kayla founded ‘Tailgate’, her very own custom apparel sales business which she runs on a part time basis.

Kayla studied and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Queens College, City University of New York.

Isaac Nemat

Isaac Nemat is the Senior Acquisitions Associate at Gorjian Acquisitions, and serves on its investment board.

Isaac specializes in outreach, acquisition analysis, property valuation and due diligence on commercial real estate properties throughout the country. His primary focus is on retail shipping centers, distressed retail shopping centers and vacant retail properties.

As the longest tenured Associate in Gorjian’s investment division, Isaac has a plethora of experience executing transactions, has relationships with hundreds of brokers and property owners, and serves as an unofficial mentor to newly hired acquisitions associates and analysts at Gorjian.

Michael Hakimian

Michael Hakimian is an Acquisitions Associate at Gorjian Acquisitions. His primary focus is identifying dark, vacant, and distressed commercial properties for potential acquisition.

Michael is responsible for outreach, analysis and deal structuring on properties of all sizes and in all markets.

Michael has substantial experience in the real estate industry, as he has worked in investment sales, retail leasing, asset management, debt & structured finance. This has allowed him to establish relationships with institutions, REITs, developers, investors, tenants, lenders, vendors and private landlords.

Michael prides himself on establishing trust with his clients, having unmatched work ethic and crafting outside-the-box ways to analyze investment opportunities to ensure that all parties are obtaining the best possible outcome from each transaction.

Harry Hakimi

Harry Hakimi is an Acquisitions Associate at Gorjian Acquisitions, and serves on its investment board.

Harry is responsible for conducting outreach, acquisition analysis and deal structuring for NYC properties and nationwide shopping centers. His primary focus is on underperforming, vacant, and distressed properties.

Harry earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Baruch College at the City University of New York, with a minor in Business Communications.

Josh Gorjian

Josh Gorjian is an Acquisitions Associate at Gorjian Acquisitions.

Josh’s core focus is identifying and analyzing investment opportunities across hospitality and special use asset classes throughout the country.
Josh’s enjoyment of networking and relationship building motivates him to help Gorjian achieve continuous growth and recognition in the years to come.

Josh is currently earning his Bachelor Degree in Business Management at Queens College, City University of New York. Josh has also studied at Bar Ilan University in Tel-Aviv.

Leah Nassimiha

Leah Nassimiha serves as the Asset Manager at Gorjian Acquisitions, where she plays a pivotal role in managing the organization's growing portfolio. With a proven track record of success, Leah oversees due diligence, project management, leasing, dispositions and other management related operations.

Leah Nassimiha earned her Bachelor's Degree from Baruch College, City University of New York.

Eden Gol

Eden Gol is an Acquisitions Associate at Gorjian Acquisitions.

Michael Garguilo

Michael, a SUNY Stony Brook graduate in Economics and Business Management, serves as an Acquisitions Associate specializing in retail transactions within commercial real estate. His role involves evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and fostering stakeholder relationships to facilitate successful transactions. With expertise in financial analysis and market trends, Michael navigates the complexities of retail property acquisitions with precision and insight.

Before assuming his current position, Michael honed his skills as a Loan Analyst Intern at Symetra Investment Management. During his tenure, he meticulously reviewed financial stability, rent rolls, and property inspections for a diverse range of commercial mortgage loans. This hands-on experience equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of underwriting principles and risk assessment methodologies essential for analyzing loan portfolios in the real estate finance landscape.

With a holistic perspective derived from his academic background and professional experience, Michael brings a unique blend of analytical rigor and market intuition to his role. His ability to leverage data-driven insights and foster collaborative partnerships positions him as a valuable asset in driving successful retail transactions within the dynamic realm of commercial real estate.
