Joel J. Gorjian
Joel J. Gorjian is the Managing Principal, Chief Strategy Officer and founder of Gorjian Acquisitions, and serves as the Chairman of its investment board.
Joel directs all investment strategy initiatives at Gorjian, doing so with his ever-growing intuition from studying macro level real estate market developments, constant explorations of new acquisition structures, having close relationships with a vast network of industry experts, and via experience as the Managing Principal of a diverse portfolio of over 75 properties throughout the US.
As the Chairman of the investment board at Gorjian, Joel has ultimate say on the approval of all pending property acquisitions, co-GP investments, LP equity investments, and property dispositions.
Joel is also the co-founder and Executive Director of Uber Capital Group, a New York based financial advisory firm focused on obtaining financing for a wide range of commercial real estate owners throughout the US. Prior to founding Gorjian Acquisitions in 2015, Joel was the Vice President of Acquisitions at a New York based private equity firm for six years, responsible for identifying, analyzing and overseeing the firm’s real estate acquisitions.
Joel earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Queens College at the City University of New York, and graduated with academic honors.
